Mementoby Geo_GriffinComment: Good choice of a movie, clever framing to resemble a poloroid photograph. You put a lot of thought into this. 8 |

Forrest Gump by PedroComment: I'm soooooo glad to see someone did this. This was my idea, too, but my week got busy and then it was too late. You did a beautiful job - the subject at first glance even appears to really be Tom Hanks due to your excellent composition and having the little suitcase there. Lovely. 8 |

bell bottoms by grigrigirlComment: I didn't get to vote on this due to other commitments, but it's truly a beautiful image. Wonderful mood and beatiful, dreamy color tones. |

Cookin' on Gasby ImagineerComment: Huh. I just saw your comment in the forums and took a look at this. I gave it a 9. I thought it was fabulous... I can't believe so many people saw this as out of focus. To me, the softness suggested motion, suggesting stir-frying, suggesting heat. Really surprised this didn't do better. |

Blacksmithby JPRComment: Oh, wow. Beautiful. The warm wood colors contrast so nicely with the b/w, and the sign really makes this "pop". Has an "old-west" feeling to it. Also somewhat of a soft-focus effect or something that makes it feel a bit dreamy. I think a print of this would do well on the market in my area of western Montana. 9 |

Weathered Stoneby kyrielleComment: Lovely subject. Some nice side lighting would really bring out the textures. I think I would have cropped out the little distraction in the upper right hand corner - it's competing for my attention with the subject. Congrats on trying an abstract image, I think we need more of them around here! |

All Saints' Churchby e301Comment: Disturbing angle, very effective. I like how much of the building you've encompassed in the frame. Makes it seem ominous. Nice tones, too. The fact that they lean towards the dark side works very well with the mood. 8 |

Majesticby rll07Comment: Absolutely beautiful... I'm such a sucker for dog pictures, and this one is done very well, both they eyes and the nose are all in focus very well, and it's almost like I can feel the softness of the fur on his neck. 8 |

Cherriesby SonifoComment: Very nice. I like the wet look and feel and the overall sharpness. Highlights are a little harsh, perhaps. I might have tried a more diffused lighting to really make the colors pop. 7 |
