Dark Waterby zeuszenComment: I can't look at this and not wonder how, and from what viewpoint, it was photographed; let alone how it was captured, with such a straight horizon and without whitewater in the foreground. Most of the voters missed a once-in-a-lifetime chance to witness something they will never see. |

age of innocenceby JutildaComment: She looks like a wise, old spirit, and your capture is one of the best portraits I have seen on DPC. Great job. |

Boxby bucketComment: This has a wonderful feeling of trepidaton/awkwardness/optimism to it - leaving the safety of her secure box apartment and blindly headed into a sighted world dressed as a locker - all the time clutching her only hope for returning in her carelessly flailing hand. How far will she go before her glasses are rendered useless and she is forced to spend the remainder of her life aimlessly wandering the streets of Ontario dressed as a Beggar-in-a-Box. Super! |

no more through youby posthumousComment: This would be a great setting for many themes, but is also a wonderful photo that can stand on it's own without props. Also, nice job on the (not too much) sharpening.
The engineering logic behind the construction of the door makes me think an interesting person once lived there.
You have not truly abused that lens until you consistantly use it for your ultra wide-angle landscape shots. Once attached, it is a difficult lens to remove. |
