Fire and Iceby MinnieComment: Ice and candles all over DPC this challenge. In order to stand out from the croud an image has to be extra-ordinary, and although better than some this isn't extra-ordinary. |

The Optimist and the Pessimistby L1Comment: Lots of people had the same thought, and managed to execute the shot better than this. It needs COLOR somewhere in it, just to give it some zap !! |

Heads or Tailsby Polar7Comment: The flash shadow on the wall is too distracting, you need to either sofyen the lighting or better still user a darker ackground.
Nice concept but not to well executed, sorry. |

S & P in B & Wby KylieComment: Not enough depth of field. The shot has clean lines between the black and white, the out of focus sections just blur this. More light, smaller apperture is needed. |

Ancient and Modern by e301Comment: Top ten for me, would like to have seen a little more detail in the light areas outside the window, maybe a little more sharpenning too.
good work though. |

Old and Newby KonadorComment: Fantastic detail, one thing would make this a 10, and thats bringing the 'dead' head out into clear background. By leaving it half way it spoils the composition for me. |

Rusted Ironboxby AllanComment: I'm sorry I can't find anything positive about this image, and I have tried.
I don't like the out of focus, indistinguishable 'object', the central or nrear central positioning or the vignetting in the corners. |

Rusted Rail to the Seaby theSajComment: I find the perspective of the rail quite nice, but the dof, the overexposed sea and the very dark foreground really let it down. I'm sure there was a better photo here. Jow many different angles and exposures did you try ?.
