I know the title tells me there is no sunlight, but this is dull in the extreme, though the composition just about saves the image from being a discard. It won't ribbon though will it ?

The title tells me that the bloom is the main focal point, however the image shouts 'HAND - LOOK AT ME NOT THE FLOWERS'. I find this very difficult to score.

Nice enough sunset, but I think thats not enough in this challenge. The winners will have an additional 'something' which goes beyond the literal.

As a landscape its very nice, though the singlr spot of light in the bottom centre and the red dot on a pole are distracting

No idea what they are, but the image is very nice. There must be a connection between 'livestrong' and hope, but its not clear to me, though I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
