Sweet Reliefby lynnesiteComment: I like your title - my first thought was a horse falling but your title made me say - oh of course! |

Back to Schoolby shamrockComment: Do they make pastel sharpies or was that done in post? In any case the colors here are so lovely and amazing in how they match up together! I would have perfered a white background and maybe a different angle, but regardless this is a great photo. |

Threeby hjaltiComment: Such a gorgeous shot - doesn't really seem pastel to me but I just wanted to comment that the setup and lighting and overall feel of the photo is absolutely wonderful. |

Pinchby escapetoozComment: Personally, I do not like the way this makes the bottom lip look. Regarding the actual quality of the shot, the colors, composition, and focus are so great and I love the shimmery lipstick/gloss. |

"And then they made me their Chief..." - Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chestby carlee_h22Comment: Back for another comment.. :-) Although the resemblance to Johnny Depp isn't there, that matters not one bit! Because the makeup is so key to that scene, and you have the makeup done so well. In fact, when I first glanced at this image I thought his eyes were open! That was exactly what I thought while watching the movie - and as it is what they wanted us to think, I really feel you have perfectly captured the key emotional element in the scene. Great job. |

Resting in The Wordby Delta_6Comment: Yay for this wonderful gift from God. :-D
edit: I have a story to tell you. I viewed this image last night and it remained in my head throughout the evening. When I got into bed I turned to a random Psalm to read before I went to sleep. I found myself reading "The works of the Lord are great, studied by all who have pleasure in them". It's 111:2 in the NIV. And I thought it was so neat to read about taking pleasure in God and his works after viewing your photographic depiction of this "simple pleasure".
This photo may not be the most visually impressive, but as for meaning, it is so amazingly wonderful. Thank you for sharing this with us. |
