Gosh. Now I'm thirsty. This is a very visually powerful image, and one I find interesting among the many landscape shots we see here. I think it's really effective how the rocks are black and the sea is whiteish, but also bluegreen to give it a very cold feeling. Off to put some ice in my water bottle now... :-)

Looks like part of the left eye (right of the picture) didn't get dodged (or if you didn't dodge any of the eye, that part should have been). Otherwise nice. I like the expression.

I guess you got a lower place maybe because it doesn't look as much like a wine glass. But I really loved this because it didn't seem as if the elements were thrown together "just because" - it really seemed to work as a cohesive whole.
