The Crowby vawendyComment: I would like it so much more if the bird would be on the left and look into the negative space! Great tones. |

supremegoatby skewsmeComment: I love it, an easy 10! I would not be astonished if it is the new masterpiece from posthumous. Otherwise you should get a ribbon from him! |

Shadow Walkerby NuzzerComment: Crop the upper third and the third on the right. Then you have a spectacular winner! |

lighthouseby jdannelsComment: I don't like that the lighthouse base in on the same level than the horizon. But what a terrific place. There are so many elements in there which would make a great picture on their own! You chose to put the all in... Why not. Go and get you ribbon! |

inhabiting_treesby PoobaComment: I see a great picture in a picture here. Do you also see this tiger face in the trunk (about 1/3 from left border and 1/2 in height)?. That might look cool from close-up!

The dead wood should be more sharpened (or a trick with curves, layer blending, side lighting). Until you want to touch it and feel its texture! |

- username : SPIDER -by andrewtComment: What's the most important feature in portraits? The eyes
Your picture just made me realize that the most important feature in spider-portraits is the hair. Which looks fantastic here!
But for stated reasons the eyes are distracting here. Probably because they feel a bit unnatural with their green highlights. (Of course I have no idea what they actually should look like!) |

theknitterby LoreneComment: Too much fingers (tough subject!) and not enough of these gorgeous colors (needles & knitting). I am sure this is real knitting in action, but for a photo one could twist reality a bit for a nicer pose/composition. |

LifeIsGoodby LydiaComment: Your composition is great (even the clouds are exactly where they should be). You have three strong colors, perfect! And the subject is interesting, makes me dream. I really like it (8). You have everything in there for a top picture, except the DPC-worshiped super sharpness and contrast, I think. |

She Loves Me, Notby ambakerComment: Hi there, teammate. I already know that you are a bit disappointed with your score, so I'll try to guess why it does not please the crowds. Firstly, it sounds a bit stupid but I think the flower coming down from the upper right corner looks a bit unnatural and set up. Parallel and maybe slightly wrapped in the paper might have worked better.
Secondly, the composition, the focus and the lighting are all on the paper. I do absolutely love the 3D-impression you get from the crinkles and shadows. Unfortunately, the perfection in one place draws the attention away from the flower. I doubt it's very comforting, but I'm sure that in a "letter" challenge it would have scored very well.
Obviously I cannot vote, but I would have given you a 6 |

3Dby FocusPointComment: Maybe a bit too much void on the left. Very original, like a beauty from another planet. Fantastic colours. Macro at its best! |
