Hauntingby Jaded_HousewifeComment: So simple, yet so effective.
I really like the monochrome effect without it actually being black and white (i assume).
The way the light is painted out of the door up the stairs is really effective.
Great idea, well executed. |

Just a smileby BradComment: Amazing.
I agree with some of the comments before me that you have perhaps gone a little too 'smooth'.
What techniques did you use for this might i ask?
Fantastic picture none the less. |

UP by cloudsmeComment: I wasn't going to vote on this challenge due to time restrictions, but after seeing this i'm going to have to vote on 25%. This really is something special.
Technically it's not perfect but that seems immaterial to be honest.
It's inspiring. Adding to my favourites. Thanks. |

Reflectionsby KronusComment: I think the composition and time (seasonal) of the capture is great. The still reflection in the water works really well. I do agree with the other guys though, in that it needs a bit of punch. The colours are very samey and thus a little drab. If the saturation and contrast was just nudged up alittle i think it would bring out the colours in the leaves and the red of the house really nicely.
Great shot never the less. |

Model Study 3by MakkaComment: For starters i love the pose used here, it's not one i've seen often and thing it adds some intrigue into the shot right from the off. I think if you can get people interested in a photo then it's accomplished something already.
The soft lighting is really good, and something i'm aching to learn myself. This is an great shot to show what i'm aiming at.
Really good all round. |
