The Bayby joannsComment: I love the angle of the lighting in this photo, really brings out the colors in the rocks. Maybe a little more dof might have clarified the background a bit, but I really like the beauty of the rocks, so maybe that was intentional. |

I Fought the Thaw and the Thaw Wonby DigipixerComment: this was a difficult challenge, the shadow on the snowman helps him stand out, but the lower shadow is a bit distracting to me. I do also like the contrast between the foreground subject and background and the dof works well. |

The Nuclear Familyby GekkerComment: Wish there wasn't so much dark in this photo. Black animals are so hard to catch on film. The puppy in front looks clear. Maybe a lighter background might have helped and some level or brightness adjustment to bring out more detail. |
