Elderly Chopperby karmatComment: you know fish are a very hard subjest to shoot. You need TONS of lights and flashes are a good way to get it. I use 2 when shooting pictures in my tank on top of the 500 watt lights I have. Try using more lights and point the flashes down on the fish. It really makes them pop out. |

Mangoby mangoComment: You're FG is way to dark and your BG is way to bright. When outside and shooting something like this you might want to try using your flash on a low exposure so you don't get a washed out image but it's bright enough to lighten up your subject. |

"ZZZZZZZ...."by digifotojoComment: IMO I think there is just too much blur going on here. I tried something like this in the past and it didn't go over well at all. I now see why. The blur stands out way too much. |

Astonishedby androgeusComment: Too much flash, you should try diffusing it some when taking pictures of pets. Their eyes reflect that light and it makes them look weird. |

Stanby laurie241Comment: This is a good picture but the leg of the table is distracting the shot. There is a light on in the BG and that is also distracting. The problem with this is that it makes the camera think there is more light in your shot than there really is. If anything I would say that you have a nice wood floor with some great crown molding. Lets try to watch that when shooting. Next time try using a sheet or a backdrop behind your subject to isolate it from everything else that's going on. |
