Morning Glowby gwe21Comment: Hi there... I̢۪ll get right to the point. I think that the border around the picture should be removed. People add them all the time but they really take away from the picture. Also the second rose behind this one really messes this shot up. I think I would have held it down some how so that you̢۪re main focus is on the first rose. I too have used the spray bottle trick (beer glass) and it work very good. What you should also try to do is mix in other ingredients that make the water a little thicker.
Also you may want to watch what time of day you shoot. The lighting can get very harsh and cause sharp shadows. You might try using an umbrella to soften the light creating a better picture.
I do like the soft focus on the stem though.
Congrats on making your second best picture.

Remembranceby breadfan35Comment: I really like the DOF on this shot and the way you processed it. I personally would have gave it a 10 and I don't see why it scored as low as it did. I think you got ripped off. Only thing I would have done different with this picture is clone out the rock at the bottom of the screen. Other than that this picture is very good. Great work |

Ouchby JudiComment: I am completely amazed that you shot this at ISO 800 and it's as clear as it is. I would love to know how on earth you did that.
Congrats on a top 10 |

Shop Girlby escapetoozComment: How cute. I would love to shoot something like this. Maybe I should try something like this. I'm too scared to try it. Seems like when I do go in somewhere someone is staring at me like i am about to do something I shouldn't be doing. hahaha I'm going to do it someday. |

by escapetoozComment: Great lighting here. I think that it would have been a little better if your model's body was turned a little bit toward the camera. Over all this is a beautiful image. |

Alone Alexisby CorySmithComment: I like the picture itself but I don't know about the processing you chose to use here. The face is dark and generally this type of processing is used for dark evil looking images. Sometimes you can get away with it on certain images but not on this one.
Overall the setup with the model on the steps and the why the camera points is good. I would like to see this processed in a different manner to allow the model to shine.

Dangeah!by CorySmithComment: Very cool setup. Do you have a large studio that you are shooting this in? Only thing I wish to see different is the girl in the back... If we could see just a tad bit more face it would look better. Although this is yet again a awesome photo. |
