This is a great photo but I don't like the border. I think it takes away from the image. I'm not sure where this would place but I think in this picture if you would have given it a larger black border on the top and bottom followed by a thin black border on the left and right it would have REALLY brought this image to life. This would have been a strong 9 for me but I'm giving this a 7 because I really dislike the border.

Oh wow, I wish I had a tree like that. I could use that as a background for a senior shoot or something like that. If we ever get a challenge where you can photograph someones face you should do it near this tree and get that green moss to fill the background.

this photo is better than the first one I looked at but at the same time I would move the light to allow it to hit the top of her hair and spill down.

Another thing I would do is move your lights closer to your subject. I know you don't have control over the amount of light but I would bring the lights just a little closer.
