Electric sparkby nico_blueComment: I dunno how you accomplished this effect but I really like it. The duotone nature of this is nice as well. |

Coming Throughby HRoxasComment: A really cool capture, especially with the green light cast on the old machinery. You've presented a great contrast between light and dark and the composition is very strong. Nice work. |

Shineby L1Comment: Nice subject and exposure. The nose is a little out of focus, but otherwise a great capture. |

Morning Breaksby Rachel34Comment: Great idea and nice capture of the light, but some contrast boosts could really make this pop imho. |

Backlit Leafby milo655321Comment: Some distracting elements in the background and an errant shadow on the bottom detract from this. For this type of shot (and I do think it is a good idea), a closer macro focus on the plant and slightly stronger backlighting might make it more interesting. Also, compositionally the split down the center is a little unappealing. Keep trying though. |

The Natural: Tinted and Reflectedby theSajComment: Could be improved compositionally imho. The reflection symmetry isn't strong enough to fix the split straight down the center. I think this image would be strengthened (especially for this challenge) if the reflection of the sun was present in the building, possibly with a little flare to make it more dynamic. |

Up the Steeple Chase...by jmleliiComment: I think I found your picture = )
Very nice, a completely different treatment than mine, the partial desaturation works well here. |

Reflective Lightby PhotoRynoComment: I like the idea and the appearance of the water. I think this would be much more powerful though in a landscape format and with the sun off center to the left. |

Eve lighting of Maltaby hkpdsoComment: Could benefit from some noise reduction software, as well as a counter-clockwise rotation of about 2-3 degrees. Compositionally I'd like to see more of the ships in the scene, backlit by the moon. The town isn't the focus of this shot, but occupies a large portion of the image. |

Suncatcherby megryanComment: Great capture! His pose is really accentuated by your composition of the photo. The soft colors really emphasize the lighting as well. |
