Nature at it's best ...by CreativeFlyPhotoComment: My first impression of this picture was that it was a finalist, for sure, but...the more I look at it, the more it hurts my eyes to try to look at all the details. Given the B&W, it makes it hard to see where one thing stops and another starts. It is a very busy picture, so perhaps the colour version might have helped to define the different foliage in the background. Then again, maybe it would just add to the confusion. The river, foreground and destination are great. The foliage makes my eyes bug out. I still give you a 7. I would love to see the original colour pic. Also, I would love to go there. where is this? |

Five Minutes From Midtown.by catpixelComment: A slightly different persepctive could have made this shot that much better. As is, the bridge is cut into two. MAybe you could have caught the whole uninterrupted bridge if you had moved to the right. |

Sno-Cone Picnicby alanfreedComment: I finf the contrast a little too much in this pic. The tree in the foregroung just blends into the background evergreens too much. Nice use of lines in this pic. |

Oak Treeby GotchaComment: I would have liked to see a little less sky to the right and a little more land down on the lower right. Great shot. Good landscape. |

Lunada Bayby daysezComment: Beautiful shot. Great composition. But I find there to be a little too much sun and not enough land in your landscape. |

Mohonkby davisspragueComment: Had this picture been more sharp, it could have gone far. I also would have placed the top mountain peak a little higher in the frame. It seems a little too centered to me. I can see that you wanted to keep the clouds in the top of the frame. |

Winter Landscape at Nightby SharQComment: Nice night shot. Are the tress on fire or is that just the street lights? Good colours. Focus is a little soft, but that is probably due to the long exposure. |
