This is a really cool picture. However, if it was truely adjusted to monochorme I don't think it meets the challenge criteria. All pictures in the challenge could have been adjusted to monochrome. If I misunderstood, your titla and the grasshopper is actually the same color as the background and vegetation, my appologies. I still gave you a 6 because I do like the picture. It's well composed, good lighting, and an interesting subject matter.

Two things I would change...The skin has too much of a pink tone to it and the lighting needs to be changed to get rid of the shadows on her face.

I like the picture but would like to have seen the hand with a more natural tone to it. The hand appears too pink. Otherwise, a great shot.

Nice warm / golden tones. However, I find all the white spots very distracting. Also, I would have cloned out the reflection in the bottom of her right eye...it's just another one of those white spots that take away from the image for me.

Interesting idea. The gold has been edited out of the shot with the pliers? The only negative for me is the color of the blood. It looks to pink and watery.

I'm sure you're going to get blasted for the date stamp, so I won't say anything about it except...oops? Also, you need to bump up the size of your submittals. It is very dificult to see any detail.

What an interesting shot. I have looked and looked at this picture and still can't quite figure it out. The forground looks like it has fill-in flash or a spot light. To me this gives the appearance that the forground is on an uphill slope to the water's edge. Very strange.
