"Marvin"by ladpupmoeComment: The picture techniclly isn\'t too bad... The lighting could have been imroved slightly, the flash, or whatever lighting you used here is quite obvious in the round green (skirt?) The biggest problem here is that a stock company probably wouldn\'t buy this photo, and I\'m going to explain my reasonings. This could not be used for any type of advertising, or even mass selling because the character in it is copyrighted, and you and the stock company buying it and selling it would get sued. This is basically a picture of somebody elses creativity and work of art. Unfortunately I do not see this as fitting the challenge. |

America's Bad Boyby psychephylaxComment: Love the concept here... definitely fits the challenge... I might have suggested putting him on the right covering up him in the background instead of covering up homer, and turning him to the left... this would have worked in a few ways, one which I already mentioned with Homer. 2 the background families eye's would draw you to him, and three he would still be looking back at the family, still this is an original shot, well lit, and great use of DOF.... good for a -9-from me! Nice job :-) |

Sunflowerby jenaromComment: This is very centered.... I think it would have been more effectual if you had cropped off some of the black on the right. Excellent focus here and detail, I love your DOF... I also like your siolid black background, it makes the sunflower pop out and look 3-d. Nice job, just try cropping a bit. -8- |

Lost in the ballparkby Pep VentosaComment: Cute! I would have liked the top row of bleachers to look straight in the photo, but nice job getting "Waldo" in there! I like the extra pattern of the fence and the fact that you didn't just shoot the field straight on, you put something in front of it. Makes for a much more interesting picture! I'm giving it a -9- only because it looks slightly tilted to me. Still a WONDERFUL job! Good luck! |

Reflections?by ChuckieComment: That is one hungry Waldo! Look at all those empty spaces in the machine! LOL... nice reflection... it looks like there is a grey film over the entire photo, not sure what caused this... Not extremely attractive photo, this might have worked better as a vertical picture, as everything in it is vertical. Good job of getting "waldo" into the photo. |

Waldo Goes to the Deer Woodsby kandyjComment: Nice job of keeping your eye away from "waldo's" legs. What a great catch with that deer ;-) Very cute photo, and nicely done with the contrasts as well as the composition. I really like it! Also great use of the challenge. -10- |

On Vacationby teachme53Comment: Is this an Iowa license plate from Sexton Ford? Good use of incorporating Waldo's red and white stripes into the photo, it works well with the red and white of the car. Also the red background is nice. Maybe you could have tried going without the tennis shoe, possibly with a white sock? the grey of the tennis shoot and the bright spots on it detract from the photo IMHO. But it's a nice photo, composition wise, and it fits the challenge. Good luck! -Talya |

Empty promenade by miracComment: Excellent job of incorporating the challenge into a beautiful photo. I like the repetition of trees, and "Waldo" fits very nicely into the photo. Very nice job! -10- |

escaped from the screenby pikytoComment: This is cute... and a very nice way to interpret the challenge. Technically I would have liked a little more contrast... and actually I might have liked this photo in color. Nice use of DOF to have the man in focus as well as the screen. |

walking bridgeby caldiverComment: Is that "Waldo" behind the fifth black post from the right? I might have liked maybe a little more assurance that there is a person there, but you still have embodied the challenge well. |
