You drive me nuts by darixComment: This is wonderful! I really like the movement here... and the red color of the driver really adds to this photo. Good lighting... nice job with the black background. How many tries did it take you to get this shot? Very well done! 1 of 2 10's for the challenge. |

Entertainmentby Everyday ReneeComment: This is a great photo. Wonderful use of low DOF here... I love how you know it's a dog, and he's looking at the grasshopper, but all your attention is also on the bug, almost as though you are the dog. Just very well done! I think cropping some of the top and the left might have helped to make this better compositionally... but I really enjoyed seeing this photo... :-) Nicely done. |

Junior varsityby justineComment: I wish we were focused more on the guy with the ball, but I do like your repetitiveness and the action happening here. It really bothers me that the kid with the ball is running out of the photo because 1) it takes my eyes right off the page and 2) he supposed to go the other way and while I know that he's just passing it off, not everyone does and it could be confusing. Great action here though, I think next time try to zoom in on the person with the ball just my 2 cents. |

Surfin' U.S.A.by joannadivaComment: Amusing... I guess there is action, but I don't really count this as a sport, but I guess it's in the eye of the beholder. I"m quite amused that the coach potato is concerned with drinking Diet, caffeine free coke. Hehehe... but it's a nicely done shot... a little noisy, but it's not a big deal. |

Fleet Streetby dsa157Comment: I like this a lot... great DOF... to show all the people and in focus. I also like your crop, a lot of people would have left more of the top in, but I like what you did here... Good action here with the racers... only thing I might say is maybe getting a little closer and specifying one of them as your main racer... especially would have been nice to see some more intense looks on their faces.. still a nice solid, if not extremely interesting... but good sports shot... -8- |

Airborneby GraciousComment: Very cool... what is he flying from? I wish we could see him closer, and maybe see his face. I think the intense look on his face would be really cool. I think it's just too far away for it to be really effective. Also I think I would have cropped it differently, but I'm not sure how I would have cropped it. |

Mental Joustingby DennisFComment: I like this a lot, I think it's very cool... I know that this is how the guy is always so it doesn't really show action, but the way you shot it really works... :-) I think it is much more effective then had you shot it straight on... it almost seems like we're thinking what to do... I can't give it top marks because truthfully it's not completely your shot, it's someone elses art work, but I still think its a cool photo -8- |

Aussie Rules, Canadian Styleby ToddhComment: I love the subject :-) looks like a lot of fun. I wish that the ball was closer to the guy, I can't tell whether he just kicked it, or he's going to catch it or what. Also the fact that I can't see the main guys face really bothers me. I do like the guy on the left coming into the frame's face. I think the ball should have been closer to the subject, that would have helped making this a more interesting and better sports photo. Great job with focus though, and at least you had the ball in the photo :-) |

Home Stretchby amsmythComment: Wish we had a closer view of this. I'm sure it was probably zoom liimitation on the camera. Good action here though! I think, depending on how many Megapixels your camer is, you proabably could have cropped quite a bit, to bring them more into view. It looks like you could have waited til they were closer to you as well. I would have cropped quite a bit here... |
