Hanging Out At The Warehousesby tsheetsComment: Nice light application of grain... and desat here... gives it a kind of dreamy, otherworldly type look. I'm not sure I care for the fact that she is dead center... and it might have been interesting to have her maybe in the bottom right corner... with the pole leading up to her? Nice image though. |

Larus grainulus - Speckled Gullby orussellComment: Personally I don't feel that the usage of grain was helpful in this image, I think it rather took it down a notch. Good catch, but I don't care for how you fit it into the challenge. |

Forlornby banmornComment: NICE use of grain with flowers!! definitely appropriate, and a nice image! I can't decide whether I would have liked another angle or not... but this works I think... good lighting, and good job. Good luck! -9- |

Missing Youby toddheadComment: Looks like an image from an old film... I like all of the lines that lead the viewer different places and don't really let us get out of the frame... Good choice cropping off the very top of his head I think, because it keeps us in the frame. Good use of not too much grain. Good luck. |

The Night Touristby e301Comment: hmmm... interesting... looks like a clip from an old film. I kind of like it... but I'm undecided about whether I would have liked a different view, or perhaps a different crop or not. Good choice in black and white... definitely looks like the kind of image that would have been way too colorful and busy. |

Reflections of a Mother's Loveby FotoMunkiComment: WOW! strong reflection in the eye!! very nice :-) I wonder what this would have looked like in black and white? might have been kind of interesting... also I think playing with the framing here... and maybe not QUITE so tight of a crop might have been good as well. Good job though. |

Entranceby BrinComment: This is a pretty cool shot... good use of light! Great choice to use black and white. I like the symmetry here :-) and the way that the wide angle gives it a slight roundness. Good luck! |
