Both waysby Alex_PetriniComment: Also wonder why this didn't place higher. Can only guess - there's a bit much going on (print on the bottle, patterns on the cups, too many ways the "milk" flows, too many singular drops on the wall) |

Untitled by NeatComment: Congrats on the red, was my top pick. You should more often process less. |

Cleaning Cameraby thesaint77shComment: This would have done very well in the "technology underwraps" challenge, I guess. Very well executed except for the missing shadows of some of the cleaners. |

A Tight Squeeze by Samantha_TComment: Well thought out and executed. Only nitpicks are the tops of the IKEA jars look pasted in, since they aren't edited in the same painterly way and the ceiling is too low (wouldn't even have been necessary to include). Front page material in any case. |

The Flying Dutchman by gyabanComment: Definition of Expert Editing: 45 people are being dominated by Photoshop and Christophe wins.
Definitely absurd, but overdone for my taste; just too many elements concurring. Neither did it need the distorted horizon nor the diving mask. The windmills don't look dutch but rather mediterranean and I doubt the Gouda cheese will be recognized as such by the majority of voters (who cares, anyway). The tulips in front look implanted (pun intended), the light on them seems to be a bit bright in comparison to the flowers further back and the left windmill. The fish's front would also be a bit darker. Since it is a fun challenge all that doesn't matter, so we'll see this on the front page. |
