The Threeby robinssongComment: Interesting expression. The postprocessing is mperhaps a bit too contrasty. |

12:05 pmby bvyComment: If the idea is to delay the moment the viewer will find the child and therefore the actual point of interest in the photograph, I like it. However, I find this works particularly well when the photograph has some kind of obvious, apparent subject, so that the viewer can relax, just to then suddendly realize that there is another less obvious point of interest and possibly the real subject of the image.
So, perhaps another angle showing maybe more of the faces of the crowd, or the event they are watching if there is an event, and then somewhere the peering face of the child, would have worked better for me. |

My new tiger shoesby DarkpixelComment: Cute pose and I like the DOF. Possibly more contrast or simply a brightening up the highlights in the background would have improved the image. |

Is The Barber In?by CuttoothComment: Flowers for the barber? I like the subject but I am not sure whether the car and the glimpse of the neighbourhood add or detract from the shot. I wonder if cropping/framing so to only include the guy and the barber shop might have worked better. |

Changing the Worldby LydiaComment: I like it but I find the sharpening a bit too aggressive and grungy for this kind of subject. |

The Builderby RianBotesComment: I find it a bit overprocessed and too saturated, but that's just my taste. Great timing and subject. |

Thank You and Good Nightby cynthiannComment: A pretty difficult light to cope with, I think. I like the pose, the detail in the shadow and the rim of light around the face. More detail in the highlights would have been great but the range is pretty extreme. Was this taken in raw?
Good job. |
