This is really nice...very good lighting, perfect exposure. Love the light on the snow. The only gripe is that it might have been nice to see more of the halo of light at the bottom of the frame, but even then it mightn't have worked. One of my top 5 this week.

This is one of the best this week. The cop is what makes this shot - very candid. In an ideal world the trees wouldn't have been there but it's fine as is. Excellent focus, definition and contrast. B&W works very well here. Might have gone 640x427 on the crop and knocked out the top of the photo myself, but the sky provides some contrast too. Well done. I think this'll get a ribbon.

Couldn't you have at least found a cute kid to photograph? Sheesh...Good work, great contrast and great expression. Excellent child labour shot. Those little buggers are good for rounding up cash and really good for tight stitching. Might have been better with a bit of a tighter crop on the right and a bit more room on the left, but that's minor. Nice shot.

I wish there was more contrast between the subjects and the background in this one. I'd like to see more of the older camera! It's by far the most interesting thing here. I also find the pink distracting.

This is such a great photo. The tones in the truck's lights match the rest of the scene so well. Very little graininess. You have a good camera!

I quite like this. Good contrast, good black and white. Focus is bang on. The upper left corner seems a bit empty but I don't know how else you'd compose it without losing other aspects of the photo. One of my top 5 this week.

Death of VHS

This is one of the few good consumer technology shots this week. The smudge of light in the lower right is a tad distracting but otherwise a very good shot. I get the feeling this one won't do as well as it should.
