Reminds me of those inflatable balloon wind tunnel things that look like people waving their arms overhead (if that makes any sense). Light is a bit harsh, but I like the side view.

Love mystery macros... but I have no idea what this one is. I keep thinking of dominoes, crabs, and those machines at the eye doctor, but I just can't seem to make those three items come together :P Great focus and love the textures in the metal though!

I fully expected to see you on the front page as soon as I saw the challenge topic. Another great shot to add to your collection.

I'll second this! That would be a show I'd definitely try to see in person! :)

Nice mirror image of the front plant in the background. And I agree with Becky, the background color matches the plant nicely.

I can't stop giggling long enough to type! I just have to keep scrolling up to look at that cute little face.. the little nose, and those paws sticking up in the air! I think this is going into my faves... one of those shots that will be able to put a smile on my face when I need it! :)

This is wonderful! I love the shadow of the railing and the textures. The arched window, the green plants framing the shot at the bottom.... it all works so well together! Very nicely done! :)

Very well done! I love super shallow dof shots, and you nailed this one! The composition is great (I tend to like symmetrical things and shots taken on the diagonal, and you did both with this one) and I like that little highlight in the background to give a bit more depth to the apple. Great job!

Wow.. very shallow dof! But you got the focus just where it needed to be! Love how you can see some of the crystal shapes in the snow. Nice job!

Hmm, I guess you'd need a whole cup of red pens then if you wanted the background that brownish color! Thanks for sharing the details :)

Great job with this one. The focus is right on, and I like that you rotated this so we can read parts of the writing. From the thumbnail I thought this was going to be a little shot glass... but this is MUCH more macro (and more interesting too). Nice job!
