This is a great shot, and I love the thinking that you didn't need to be so closely focused in on the peeps, yet they're still the main point of the shot. The only thing I could think of to improve this shot would have been using children as models, to go more closely with the story.

Congrats on the 5th! I know how you feel with getting so close to those ribbons. We'll both get there eventually!

I think the idea of a different pov might have worked here... lower perhaps, and maybe with a shallower dof? I also think there might be a bit of extra space to the left of the trees that could be cropped out. I do like the curve of the fence, nad the llamas, and I don't think the processing is necessarily a problem here either. But, I think I might have taken off a point just for getting that silly song stuck in my head with your title! :P (j/k)

Interesting item.. definitely something for the pattern challenge! I like the symmetry here, but I agree with socalsteve that it would probably score better in voting if the composition was a bit more dramatic.

Great shot... like the reflection being sharp. I'm a fan of the diagonal shots, the the rotation here adds more interest. I might have to try some water stuff after seeing all your great shots!

Love this one! The colored background is fun and whimsical and works really well here. Great designs and ripples in the water to look at... and with all that going on, you still got the banana in focus! Looks like you're having a good time with these water shots... Great job!

Love the fresh colors here and the contrast in textures. I recognized this immediately in the thumbnail, but had to take a second look when I opened it up full size to get my bearings. Lovely!

Like the way this little guy wiggles through the shot on the diagonal. You're right, the dirt gives him a more natural feel!

'S' is for slither

So much going on here... textures of the wood and the worm, the shape of the shadow and the S shape. Feels a bit oversharpened in the darker parts of the wood and highlights. Glad Soup got a fresh meal!

Great view of the layer detail here. That little spike on the edge is unexpected and is a nice addition to the shot.
