Flower in warm waterby JaimeVinasComment: Wow... first reaction is that the flower doesn't belong in the 'warm colors' challenge, but somehow this manages to have a warm feel to me. Nice gradient of orange in the background. I guess the odd looking edges of the petals come from the fact that this is floating in water? |

Sweatin' Peppersby tpbremerComment: Great choice of background color to complete a warm feel with the peppers. Something with the water drops feels out of place here... perhaps the way they pool up once they slide off the peppers. |

'Sunbathing'by GregoryBComment: Like the composition here... and he looks like he's just barely hanging on! The greens give a nice blip of contrast to the warm browns too. |

Neckby feralinetComment: This little guy posed very nicely for you! Great focus and love how you can almost feel the feathers on his neck. I'm not sure about the completely centered composition here, but I do like the long portrait orientation. This would be great for the color on color challenges too... he blends in well! |

Lost In Celebrationsby Arpit_BakshiComment: I'm not really sure what this is, but it seems to have a combination of warm and cool colors, though you focused in on the warm. It looks like it has some interesting textures, and while I'm usually a fan of shallow dof, it may have been neat to see more of the texture here. |

A New Dawnby JustinMComment: Great warm colors here, and I like the way the pier leads out to the lighthouse. I'm not sure if I would have preferred the sun to be completely behind the lighthouse, since it feels a bit off with it only peeking out from one side. Looks like the clouds cooperated here too, giving just a touch of interest to the sky. |

Burst of Redby flipixComment: I like the negative space here, and that the stem is out of focus, leaving all of the focus on the red flower. As a whole shot though, I find that there isn't a lot to hold my attention. |

Springby glodaComment: Lovely shot, and has an overall warm feel, though I don't know that it was accomplished through the use of color. I like that her arm is extended and her gaze also leads you to the flower she is looking at. I wish her other hand was folded in or something so it wasn't chopped off, and I would have had her fix the shirt to cover up the strap! |

The Balloon Manby OldCoyoteComment: This doesn't scream warm colors to me, in fact the focus on the balloon and the shadow it casts are cool colors. I think it's hard to take something with so many colors and make it work for either of these particular challenges. |

Spiritus Autunnoby faeryComment: Lovely warm autumn colors... not sure about the horizontal placement in the frame.. perhaps a diagonal composition would be nice? |
