Line Riderby dtremainComment: Great textures and contrast. Wish the line was a bit more diagonal to really show that it was intentional. Other than that, the shot doesn't really have something to grab the viewer and hold their interest. A unique angle would help, or adding something like a snail or a shadow of a bicycle tire would help to show "line rider" as the title says. |

Diagonalby banmornComment: Love how you found one strong line to anchor the shot, with so many other lines throughout the shot. |

A Line from the Lawnby MaryOComment: Love the shallow dof here, and the bokeh it created in the background. I like that you chose to crop so that the line is cut off on both sides, too. There is something about the coloring which feels off, and unfortunately it's the same thing I notice with my shots and never quite know how to fix without just fiddling with PS. Nicely done though overall. |

Line of wireby alpharichComment: Great dof and I like the splash of interest in the background. Light seems a little harsh, but I do like the contrast it creates. |

Match!by jbushyComment: Interesting take on the challenge. Such a significant line that can make or break a game, and I like the motion captured. Coloring seems a little flat to me. A little more contrast or a soft light layer might help to really bring out the contrast of the red and green, as well as the white line. |

At Day's End by LydiaComment: So happy to see that this one took the blue. It jumped out at me during voting and really caught my eye in a way that very few photos do. And if you hadn't noticed yet, not only is it a fantastic score, but it's enough to get you on the page of top rated photos of all time! Quite an accomplishment! Congrats! :) |

Flying-Beeby cryanComment: Love the unique angle here and the fresh, complimentary colors. At first glance, it feels soft, but when you look closer, it looks like the sharpest focus is on the head of the bee. |

20080604 Backyard Macro N14438-s720 -1-5.jpgby NeilComment: Love the bokeh here and the contrast of colors. I like the idea of the brighter area, especially since the stamen are pointing upwards, but agree it might be just a tad too bright... or perhaps it just seems too bright with the darker edges of the shot? Regardless, it's still a lovely shot! |

Eternal Friendship by senor_kasperComment: Not sure about the faint shapes of the trees in the background, but it seems as though you were trying to make them less of a distraction to the main silhouettes of the horse and cross. I think taking them out all together would make for a cleaner shot (if that's legal with the editing). |
