Hand in Handby qui-bowComment: I think the border is too heavy. It only emphasizes how dark the image is. I'd like to bump up the exposure to bring out a little more detail. I do like how the couple fits so well in the scene. |

With Love For My Heartby h2Comment: Food photography is pretty hard to do, but this looks absolutely scrumptious! The shadows and the darker color of the ribbons in the corners creates a natural vignette too. |

He loves the snowby whiteflyerComment: I love that the background is blurred out enough to make the bird pop, but not too much that the scene is obliterated. The perspective makes the house look like it's the perfect size for the bird, and that reminds me of a scene from a fairytale. |

He Protects Meby JudiComment: I like this image but I see some points that can be improved. It looks to me like the focus is more on his near arm than his face. The background is also a few stops too hot--it's bleeding onto the boy, blowing out the highlights on his shirt and arms and creating a strange glow around his head. The boys pose looks relaxed, but his expression looks more sad or pained than loving or protecting. I also might put a reflector or bounce card camera right to give a nice catchlight in his eyes and provide a bit of directional light on his face. |

Unconditionalby bcrantsComment: This is underexposed. The "white" dog is actually middle to light gray. Otherwise, it's a nice capture of the moment. |

Covered bridge to...nowhere.by wetlandComment: Great subject and nice processing. I might have put a light vignette on the left side of the image since that's where the bridge leads my eye, but otherwise cool shot! I love the detail in the bridge. |

The Shack by tfarrell23Comment: Such beautiful colors! Great composition too. I'm glad you didn't HDR the heck out of it like some would--it looks beautiful as is! |

Country Churchby NikonJebComment: i love the layers in this: the reflection, the wall, and the window in the background. Great processing. It brings out the detail without being over-the-top. |

"One Way Ticket" by Joker1114Comment: There have been a handful of images I've pegged as being NikonJeb's, but now that I've found a train, I'm pretty sure I've found him too : ) If not, good mimicry! Great detail and leading lines. |
