Itsy bitsy spiderby hannekeComment: I like the simplicity of this shot. The out of focus, uniform background allows the complex shape of the spider to stick out well. Almost has a 'zen' feel. This might make a nice print, or even a desktop background. |

Tracks into the Desertby BAMartinComment: I like this shot. It's got a very "Ansel Adams" feel to it. Nice depth of tones - all the way from black to white.
The composition is great too. Perfect for the challenge. The tracks lead your eye right in.
Good DOF - sharp right from the front all the way to infinity.

Desperate Times Call For Desperate Measuresby otisXmikeComment: I thought this was very clever. Probably a little too clever, since from the comments below it looks as though most people didn't get it.
And I can't believe some people thinking it deserved a brown ribbon - even with arguments of DNMC, it is still a decent photo.

Blast to the Pastby trnqltyComment: I like the expression on her face. Gives the photo quite a punch. The colour is also nice - nice hues of blue to contrast the yellow of the daisy. The background also brings out her eyes brilliantly. Message edited by author 2006-08-01 09:24:31. |

Simplistic Grandeurby AgaricusComment: Very nice photo. I didn't think it was the perfect entry for the bokeh challenge, but as a photo on its own, it's quite striking. The yellow centres of the flowers really contrast well with the blue background. |
