This is a difficult image to vote.
The red does distinguish your subject, but seems drab compared to the brillant yellow. Perhaps you should have used Altoids for the contrast.

Clever title.
In terms of the challenge, you took a risky approach with that title since what you designated as the subject, the bird, actually blends into the background colors.

My main problem is with the title, I don't understand the disaster factor, what I get is dining with dirt.
