Is this "too late" because she turned away from the camera? There are a number of problems with this picture. The ribbons stand out (being in the foreground) but are out of focus and overexposed. The lighting is very uneven (look at the hair top, middle and bottom, for a wide exposure range). Also picture is very cluttered and difficult to determine what the subject is.

One of few to meet the challenge description! But the sky is blown and the landscape isn't interesting. If the scene were backlighted the picture would be much more pleasing and still meet the challenge -- it would be later still!

Too late to catch the falling amphora

One of few to meet the challege description. I really like the colors. I don't understand the purpose of the candle -- it's not providing the light and not the subject of the picture, so it really is a distraction.
