Unfortunately there is too much light on the castle for this to be a silhouette for me. If it had been solid black I don't know that this subject would have worked well for the challenge as it doesn't have enough shape to the building to make it interesting. That being said I'm sure this a a great image with the right light on it.

Nice image but doesn't meet the challenge for me. The tree should be black and no detail should be seen in the trunk etc.

This is an interesting image but it doesn't meet the Silhouette challenge for me. Detail is visible on the rider and he should instead by totally black. I love the shadow on the ground but it is also not a silhouette.

I like the sun rays in this but would probably crop it above the white strips at the bottom to make a more solid image.

I think this image could have worked well for this challenge if it had been cropped about a third higher and been exposed the create a better silhouette or levels adjusted to enhance the exposure. There is a lot of noise in the image which could be from the exposure or that it has been heavily cropped.

The people in the background are partly silhouetted but the subject of the image is in the light. For me this image doesn't meet the challenge of 'Silhouette'

An image of a silhouette needs to be interesting. If a person was a silhouette standing sideways there would not be much to look at but if the person was standing front on with the legs apart and their arms wide open you would now have a more interesting silhouette. Look for silhouettes that create interest and impact.
