Snake Eyeby tjmuellerComment: Fun idea! The problem I have with it though is the orange skin tone and the uneven make-up application. |

Hipsby dsmilComment: Not sure what to make of this. The lighting is okay, but a little boost in contrast/curves (no pun intended) would have made the whites whiter. I'd suggest using a healing tool of some sort, to clean up some minor imperfections in the skin as well the sensor dust visible under her arm. The pose feels a little awkward too. |

Pool of Blueby impilotComment: Excellent selective desat, but the greys are a bit flat leaving the skin looking pasty. |

...No Country for Old Men...by Bear_MusicComment: Wow, a fairly confronting look at aging. Although not a hugely appealing image, great job on accentuating all those lines. The editing though has left a strange fuzzy halo along all the edges. |

Handby ScooterMcNuttyComment: Good idea, but the lighting could have been better to bring out more of the lines and texture in the skin. |

Fluffy Cheeks and Fuzzy Chinsby ivale28Comment: Very good focus, but the angle/point of view wasn't the best idea here, it's too close. Maybe pull back a little and keep level with the subject, rather than an upward perspective? The flash has also caused hot areas on the cheek. Again, you'd either have to pull back or turn the flash down if possible. Good effort though :) |

Single Hand Action (self potrait) - Ball RELEASE !!by andrewtComment: I can't quite tell if it's motion blur or just slightly out of focus. I think it might be the former. I guess my advice would be to try this again in an area with loads more light so you can bump up the shutter speed. I really like this, just a shame about the blur. |

Raven turns humanby KrisbyComment: I'm not quite sure how to critique this. It certainly meets the challenge, but a combination of harsh light and distracting specks makes it slightly unappealing. The focus on the eye is good, maybe try placing the key light lower? |
