Misty Morning Maestroby duncesComment: Good capture. I'd be interested in seeing some of your other misty morning shots from that morning. Shooting in mist always adds a nice dynamic to photography. May have worked a little stronger in an 8x10 crop, the added space at the bottom doesn't add to the composition in my opinion. Thanks for sharing. -danny |

Wild Tule Elkby sfaliceComment: Good exposure on this image. Leaving the space on the right of the frame allows for the viewer to wonder where he's off to, good composition in that regard. -danny |

Grizzly Warningby ccraftComment: If this was in the wild, I sure hope you were in a bus! This is exactly how most people probably imagine what a bear encounter would look like. Good sharp shot, with overall pleasing composition. Good work. -danny |

I was fired by that cigarette company!by photomComment: Got a toothbrush? :-)
Nice shot. I think the extra sky above it doesn't really strengthen the shot. Perhaps a tighter crop excluding some of the sky. Otherwise, a nice capture of the character of this camel. |

Impressionsby KaDiComment: Some may say this isn't a wildlife shot... where's the animal... I however think this tells it all. I like the contrast of elements on the two sides of the frame. The paw print right on the edge of the water line works well. Excellent shot. -danny |

Go Southby jonrComment: Not sure, but there may be a bit of dodging on this shot, still I like enough to mark it high. The framing of this bird in the frame with the neck stretched out works real well. Thanks for sharing. -danny |

Jambo by ellamayComment: Although this may be lacking some contrast, the overall composition and sharpness of this image are real good. Possibly stronger as a portrait instead of landscape crop. Good work. -danny |

Waiting for the preyby JasComment: The streaming rain makes this shot. We don't see many photos with rain in them, and you have not only captured it nicely, but you have a nice composition and subject. Well done. -danny |

Am I Different?by charmayneComment: A lot of people may have dinged you on the overexposed neck, or underexposed ducks in the background, but to me this shot is more about the relationship between the two types of bird. You have captured a powerful image that proves that exposure isn't always what makes a good shot. -danny |
