Centre of Attentionby naomikComment: Photoshop to make more out of a quick snapshot usually doesn't work. I know that you probably didn't plan this shot, and pose them, or you would have removed the walker, the purses and had them more posed. The sepia treament as well as the blur do little to add to the shot. |

Carl in Thoughtby mikasiComment: Prolly a tough choice you had to make on keeping this color or going black and white. I think either treatement would work nicely. Apart from some minor sharpening needing done, this is a fine capture. |

Up... Up... and Away!by cpurserComment: Good exposure on a candid capture. Not sure if it's motion blur or just DOF falling off, but the camera right side of his face seems soft or blurred. I think overall this will look nice in your family album. |

Girlsby datcatComment: A nice moment between mom and daughter. The colors and white balance are done nicely. Unfortunately there is no crop you could have done to remove the straw and keep the overall feel of the shot. |

I wonder what she's thinking?!?by dwterryComment: Expressive, maybe a little too much sharpening done to try and recover from soft focus on the eyes, or motion blur from her moving her head. I like the natural expression. |

Iron Willby megryanComment: Overall sharpness is lacking. Did you do a post processing sharpening on this after you resized it? A lot of times a light unsharp mask after resize will bring back the original pop you had at full size. |

my brother you're madby whiteroomComment: Only thing that I don't care for too much is the overboard noise reduction used. Everything else is great, even the extremely white whites are ok, because this shot is edgey and expresses a lot of character. |

A Candid Momentby clarmoreComment: Tender moments are great captures. This is nicely done. I may have dodge slightly on the face so it's not so dark, and the focus seems on the head band and not the eyes. |

say no evil...by frumoazniculComment: Character lines are always great when photographing people. This gentleman has a lot of them. Being this is a candid shot, you had no control over the lighting, but as we all know a shot later in the day with less harsh light would be more appealing. You did well to manage the exposure with the bright afternoon sun. |
