The candle light gives this an interesting but somwhat spooky look. Of course some birthdays are spooky for people, maybe that was the idea.

Definetely have the sympathy feeling going here. I probably would have cropped it the other direction, so there wasn't all the empty white space a t the bottom.

A pretty picture. I always seem to have trouble getting details like I want in this type of setting. A longer exposure might have brought out the moss and shrubs around the rocks.

The guys on the bench goes with the friendship title, but the darkness of the rest of the card gives me the idea that someone just died, more like a sympathy feeling.

It took me a second to find the ocean. Are the pools in the foreground tidepools? A tandem bike would have been great. Still, a pretty picture.
