La Basilique Notre Dameby DudskiComment: Stunning place and beautifully captured. If I have one quibble, I think that this would be better without the flowers in the foreground. |

Hammin' Itby bladComment: I really like the subtle colour treatment on this. The obvious interaction between the subjects and the photographer is great and the inclusion of props in the background fit it to the challenge well. |

Man of the Forestby rioloboComment: Superb 'animal in it's environment' portrait. I love the lighting and the detail is wonderful. Great title too, although it would be more appropriate if there were a tree or two in the background. |

The Urban Explorerby rob_franklinComment: I like this, particularly the contrast between the devasted interior and the daylight outside. What I'm not sure about is the portrait bit - ideally, I think I want to see more of the subject's face - some interaction between them and the photographer. |

Sofia Huntingdogby neophyteComment: I'm intrigued as to what that is on the dogs collar - I do hope it's explained in your comments. Not a bad animal portrait, and definitely fits its environment. |

Softballby ClubJuggleComment: This is a lovely portrait - the expression on her face is adorable. One thing would have made this perfect - the inclusion of a ball! |

Part Inspectorby edmengComment: This seems a good example of an environmental portrait. If I have one quibble it would be that the leaning over position of the subject looks rather extreme. |
