Focus on the dice is good and clear and the slightly off centre composition is good. But this falls down on meeting the challenge - the dice, the subject of the image, are not blue. The background is fundamentally black. There is a very indistinct blue area at the bottom only.

Sadly I find this hideous, grotesque, even. Something about blue and mouths I really don't like I'm afraid. Personal taste, I guess some people may love it.

Cropping the background out of this would have improved it (you would have needed to make sure your shot of the flag was straight and tight). Also there seems to be a circular mark in the bottom left quadrant which is distracting. The light is also a bit harsh and would benefit from being toned down.

Before you take your shots, particularly posed images like this, have a look round to see if there is anything in the shot that distracts from the main subject. That piece of litter on the left side of the shot could so easily have been removed.

Blue brushes

OK, great to have tried the from the top perspective, but the focus is out too much for this to work in this image. This is compounded by having cut the fourth toothbrush partly out of the frame. This would have been much better if you had cropped it to concentrate only on the two toothbrushes on the right and improved the focus.
