Very blown out on the right. I feel that the toothbrush holders would have benefitted from a clean before taking the shot.

too blurred and the shadows are too distracting

The white blow-outs and lack of focus on the higher toothbrush is very distracting. As is all the noise in the image. This could have worked in crisp focus with better lighting.

overexposed, unsharp, bad crop

I like the interesting angle with the mirror image, but the poor technical quality really hurts it. You would do better without flash--the bright light overexposes the left brush and casts ugly shadows.

OK, great to have tried the from the top perspective, but the focus is out too much for this to work in this image. This is compounded by having cut the fourth toothbrush partly out of the frame. This would have been much better if you had cropped it to concentrate only on the two toothbrushes on the right and improved the focus.

Interesting angle, but the light is too bright on the upper brush, washing out the detail and there doesn't seem to be a point of clear focus.

Nice use of mirror. Focus on central subject would be better, and much more DOF is needed, especially with close subjects. Off-camera lighting would be better, as the near subject is "blown out" with loss of detail.

This is a little bit out of focus for me.

Meets the challenge, though it's very much out of focus and overexposed, which makes in unenjoyable. Don't push the camera into the subject if it does not support macro mode, because you will loose focus.

Out of focus and it looks like the camera wasn't steady when the shot was taken.

I am sorry but this is pretty horrible. Composition is lacking, the subject is kind of boring and flat, and worst of all - it's all completely out of focus! 1.

focus, focus, focus.....or in this case the lack of it!!!! 1

Well, there is blue in the image so at least it meets the challenge. To be blunt though...it is a bad image. It is out of focus, the lighting is very harsh and the highlights are blown out. There is also really nothing appealing about the composition.

It's a fun perspective-- took me a second to realize that it was a mirror, rather than 4 separate brushes. The problem is that most everything seems out of focus. The bottom right brush is crisp, but it takes a while for the eye to find that.
