Black Neds Lagoonby owenComment: first thought- crop circles :) I get a lonely feeling from this image. More dramatic clouds would have given it more oomph :) |

The Picnicby sfaliceComment: love the leading line of the path. great contrast. The bird on the path breaks the repetativness of the paving and the group of people give this some life. |

By the Wayby pixelpigComment: There is a little too much going on here for my eye to focus of anything. I learnt something recently at camera club, green and red are tonaly very similar, therfore when you have red and green together and convert to black and white the tones all blend together with very little contrast. I'm sure this would be way more interesting in colour. Hope I was of some help and didn't offend you :) |

Heping Islandby DeenComment: very nice. nice solid rock face on the right that holds you in the image. As my eyes wander to the right and try to leave, that wall of rock and plant life pushes my gaze back into the image for another look. Well done. |

Doing the Powderhouse Slideby mzrowanComment: a good black and white photo has in it true black and true white and grey tones.. This feels like a lot of grey tones. The possition of the slide on the right, sliding back into the image is good, had it been facing the other way it would has slid the veiwer right out of the picture. |
