nine/thirtyby UNCLEBROComment: I love the minimalism here, and think it's very effective just the way you've presented it. |

eleven/thirtyby UNCLEBROComment: Wonderful available light shot, with so much emotion in the eyes. I would actually like to see a bit wider crop, to the outside of the bars, so it is almost immediately apparent that he is in a cage (and hopefully why), and which might isolate him a bit more in the image. I do like it as is, though, and I definitely wouldn't crop it any tighter. |

The Band Who Knew Too Muchby RetroesqueComment: Excellent tones and composition in this, and good use of motion blur. Really nice slice of street life here, a bit gritty even (that's not particularly fun work he's doing, and you've captured that feel, I think, from the chaotic posters on the wall to generally dirty appearance of his surroundings). |

Day Nine: Succulent Grayby Art RoflmaoComment: The textile look of this, as though it is on a canvas, is very appealing. I'm a bit less excited about the border and the rough edges of the image, which almost kind of a little bit sort of cancel each other out (can you tell I'm not very comfortable with my articulation of that??). Great tones and textures in the image itself, too, very nicely shot. |

Day Ten: The Bar is Openby Art RoflmaoComment: Excellent tones and light from an available light shot, especially a self-portrait. Nicely done. Going to get myself a beer now, but I don't have my own skull mug :( |

Day 13 - Bostonby CapeSailComment: No comments here? Weird. Anyway . . . this is a good shot, with some wonderful composition. I'd love to see it lightly processed, maybe straightened a bit (though that might be tough given this perspective, it might be best as is), with a boost in contrast (curves, perhaps) to give it greater impact. |

Day13by CharleneComment: The processing here is really nice, and I like the tones and overall appearance. I agree it's a bit tight on the bottom where the poor cow has lost a foot, but the overall silvery look is quite appealing. |

Day 13by darnokComment: Delightful. My favorite kind of image, something that shows us something common in a new light. Nice and sharp, good use of depth of field, wonderfully processed, and good choice for contrast settings. Nice. |

Remote Campsiteby noranekoComment: What a great shot, so clean -- now that you've cleaned it up, I guess :) The lines and movement from those lines is wonderful, as are the tones. A scene I would have wanted to shoot but might not have for fear of not being able to capture what I saw; glad you have better vision than I do. And I thought you weren't supposed to clean the low pass filter (that that was a job only for the pros)? |

Day 12 B&W - Mississippi Riverby alexjackComment: I like this, the composition is strong, from the diagonals, to the rock sort of anchoring the shot, to the dramatic sky. Nicely done. As for the toning, the the water itself looks almost muddy, and I'm not sure that's the look you were going for. The sky and the shore look great, but the water is a bit too brown for my tastes. |
