Day 23 - Coolmasterby nikolaosComment: Neat image, from a different perspective. I'd love to see this a little closer up, without the door handle showing in the background, and maybe even just with the face of the fan showing (on feet, etc.). |

New lifeby suemackComment: For tons of people, sheep and lambs are incredibly ordinary, just part of their day (on the farm). I love the composition here, which works really well, from the direction the mother is looking to the positions of the two lambs; the brightness on mom's back gives the image some nice contrast. Well captured! |

26. Security grillby suemackComment: This is a powerful image; it could be an animal adoption advertisement with nothing more done to it. It says to me yearning and desire on the part of the cat. Great image. |

IMG_8356-Stapler.jpgby TheresaAComment: The lighting here makes this very interesting for me, emphasized by the DoF you've used here. Great take on the challenge here, well done. |

day 22 - Sailing Across a Stormy Seaby boyd2000Comment: Neat image, and you've captured some lovely texture detail in the cloth; I missed a bunch of your shots when I didn't have time to post for awhile; definitely need to go back and see what you've done with this throughout the challenge! |

Pull Chainby trevytrevComment: Good choices made here (at least to my eyes); I'm forced to look at the chain, but the context is there from the soft focused areas behind it. I know what it is, but I have to look at it. Well done. |

Dirty Stichesby trevytrevComment: Nice; I like that you can see the stitching stretching in the holes; how often has this been played with, hit hard, caught, dropped, lovingly caressed as the pitcher prepares to take on the batter, followed by eyes the whole field over. Excellent. |

Mini Blinds Day 25by riversongComment: I like how you've left the opaque bar on the left; anchors it a bit to my eyes and reduces the visual harshness that otherwise fits so well. Nicely shot. |

Day 25by breadfan35Comment: Wonderful; I mow these over every time I do the lawn. I need to look around more when I'm doing ordinary things. I agree with Gina, a bit more subdued highlights might work here; I wonder about the centered composition, too; would RoT work to strengthen this already strong shot even more? |

Day 25 - Locking Upby photokariangelComment: Beautiful image, lovingly shot and processed. I imagine opening the lock to wind the clock, and check that the time is set correctly, gently closing it again and standing back to look at it, admiring the craftsmanship that can be seen, as well as what is hidden in in the inner workings. Wonderful. Fav'd. |
