 The lock and key to my mothers grandfathers clock, to me it looks like a lock to some old house, and i love it

I love the brilliant light reflected on the shiny surface of the lock... the intense contrast is perfect!

Beautiful image, lovingly shot and processed. I imagine opening the lock to wind the clock, and check that the time is set correctly, gently closing it again and standing back to look at it, admiring the craftsmanship that can be seen, as well as what is hidden in in the inner workings. Wonderful. Fav'd.

Such an antique feel with the ornate shapes in the metal and the well worn textures of the wood. Very nice.
