This looks so much better than it should :) I mean, it's a smashed box. But the lighting is really good, with nice shadows on the left and clean whites on the left. Good DoF, and the whole thing just oozes the feeling of receiving something like that. Really nice.

Great shot with perfect detail. For me, this cries out for RoT, with the hole moved right and up just a bit, but as is, it's quite strong. Holes like this are very ordinary to me, and I'm quite skilled at not seeing them -- it's my job to fix them, so what I don't see, I don't have to fix :)

Good perspective here, well shot and with good DoF. I wonder how this would look in B&W, with a bit of toning to silver the whole thing a bit . . . I think I might miss the blue, though.

The color here is fabulous, really grabs my attention. What about this don't you like? I see some greys near the top left that are a tiny bit distracting, but for an abstract/macro, I think it's quite good.

Wonderful, looks like a great family activity. Of course, will I be able to find "masa flour" in Norwich, England? Definitely a cool shot, and pretty ordinary to most of us until you brought it to us! I love that the beetles are the actual strong focus; we have to see them, because the flower is outside the clear DoF. Great composition, as well. Excellent shot.

Day 25 - Dock

I like the idea of this, but I'm not overly enamored with the horizontally centered composition of the rope tie, and the ship looks a bit too artificially dark to me. I might crop some off the right to bring the tie right a bit, but I'm not sure that would do what I'm looking for . . . (helpful, ain't I?).
