My Lunch Room (2)by SandyPComment: I actually hear them thinking, "Meetings are stupid. Go back, get bread, return" and repeating it over and over, trying to mesmorize! |

My Lunch Roomby SandyPComment: Wonderfully soft image, it flows so smoothly, and I don't mind the border at all (but when I recently left a border off of an image that was mostly black, someone actually left a comment asking where it was! ergh! So I can understand your reluctance to use this in a challenge, glad you did it here). I, too, would love to learn more about your post processing steps here. |

Where I Live (2)by SandyPComment: The photo conveys so nicely what you've written in the text. Though I'm missing snow where I live (especially with all the dramatic snow pics in this project), I sometimes wish I had weather like yours so that I could enjoy my backyard more often, too (PS: I understand it's politically incorrect to call a dog a mutt; they're to be called "All American Breeds" -- that makes me laugh, but I used to do animal rescue work and got a yelling at more than once for calling a dog a "mutt" -- but I still do it (that's what I have) - LOL). |

Local Hang Out Day 3by emily212Comment: I like this; I wondered at first what it would have looked like if the hill was a bit darker (later in the evening, maybe), but then you're fighting with the dark front of the building, which is already dark, but still has detail in it as is, so I'd probably leave it as is (can't have everything, can I?). |

My Work Day 2by emily212Comment: Nice to see where people do their thing; glad you have a calm place to work, it's good for the soul! |

Day 4 Frozen Pondby ElaineComment: I like the line of the coast here, aligned in the top third of the image and crossing all the way to the right; the ducks make an intersting pattern, too! |

Day 3 Carlisle Buildingby ElaineComment: Great shot, and I love the powerlines (again); they are such a good part of what is going on in the image, and I like the angle they provide, as well. |

Day 2 - Morning Viewby ElaineComment: I (like everyone else, it seems) like the star effect; but I also really like the power/phone lines. This is what you see in the morning, and the lines are part of that. I think they give the image a great dimension, giving something to the top which otherwise might otherwise have been a bit empty ('cause it's morning and nothing's going on in the sky). |

Feb 1 my favorite tree.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: Great image, with nice tones and excellent use of fog; NJ is "The Garden State", after all! Maybe keeping the fence, but focusing beyond it instead would have worked for this (I like the context the fence provides). |

DAY 4 .where i live . sashy .by rozComment: I really like the desat here, too; did you do this "by hand"? I'm still learning selective desat, and I find it takes me forever, and I probably wouldn't have done the leaves for just that reason (though, IMHO, it makes the image really stand out). I'm actually glad you kept the full height of the image; to my eyes, there's a different feel in each vertical third of the photo which is very pleasing to me. |
