Striped Glassby KarenNfldComment: Originally posted by bear_music: Was just looking at your photographer's notes and saw you used "morning sunlight" in a challenge that required a "single, artificial light source." Great shot regardless, and a fine finish. |
Bear is correct. The image being commented on came 4th in the challenge. Surely this can't be correct? I know the rules say that you can't be disqualified for not meeting the challenge, but this really goes beyond that. It means that a place has been denied to someone who has followed the challenge brief - doesn't seem very fair.
This anomaly was bought to the attention of the photographer in the first few days of voting and has ben consistently mentioned since by others so there was ample opportunity for this to be voluntarily withdrawn. Message edited by author 2005-11-26 06:43:46. |

Floating on Air?by JeanComment: Incredible pic but as long as there's a reflection, it has to be on water. Just not really appropriate in this challenge - 3 |

Barrierby sarnComment: Too messy and without a point of interest. It just makes it difficult for viewers to relate to your image |

Swimming in ginghamby YorinaComment: Nice colour match. I think you could have done a lot with this if you'd sent some more time with it. The grass is distracting and not realy necessary as it lessens the impact of the image. |

You Can Run And You Can Hide!by basia03Comment: What an interesting shot. The slow shutter motion is great yet you've managed to get the dog sharper than I though you would. Camo is a bit dubious but otherwise great. |
