::: Critique Club :::
Well, this is an odd entry to critique. It's very difficult to share some thoughts with you as you've not made any comments about what you were trying to achieve and what your toughts on the outcome are.

First Impression - the most important one:
An out of focus, indistinct snapshot that isn't close to the challenge brief.

Subject:
I can't see how this meets the Even challenge at all and the title just makes it worse, it doesn't make sense.

Technical (Colour and light):
The lighting is careless because you can see the overexposed window. The focus is terrible.

To get a Ribbon?:
Re-shoot it. Use a light source that's not visible, focus it, make it relevant to the challenge and give it a title that can be understood - although it should say 'even' without its title.

Summary:
I can't believe this image made a 4.9. It's only worth 2-3 at the most. The fact that it scored more just adds to its sleaze value.

For some reason, don't find the DOF works here, I keep wanting to include the background in my visual scan because it's there and the colourings of it are so unusual.

That is a stunning setup and acapture. I suspect you haven't yet seen the best of it either. The foreground and crane are distractions that i think you could have cropped out and thereby seriously doubling th impact of the point of interest

This has gone a little flat hasn't it. A dash of enhanced contrast would help apart from it being just a little removed from industral to score well I feel

Wow, good capture which I think has lost it's potential impact but too much neutral space to the right of the welder. He's the point-of-interest so he needs to be at a thirds intersection which you could achieve by a crop to almost square

Neat. Good tecnical achievement. The DOF is spot on and the colour is strong. As well as all that, you have made the composition interesting and challenging. If this doesn't score highly, it should do.
