Shoe on Yellowby wgriffinComment: The stand/basket (whatever that is) is distracting, and the composition could be closer to the shoe perhaps, which might let you play about with a more abstract presentation of blocks of colour and shapes like your title suggests. |

"Fun" with Shoesby Goldwing_edComment: This just seems annoying without the shoes being worn I'm afraid. And wouldn't they be bare feet considering they're under the covers? |

Lacing Upby jrtoddComment: A crop to remove the right and top would bring focus onto the silhouette of shoes being laced and remove the distracting elements like for eg: the skirt, whose translucent effect fights for attention. Good potential though, and I like the strong pose especially |

Her Favorite Shoesby CallistoComment: Looks more like her favourite feet, than favourite shoes. Perhaps if you wiggled them and got her to chew them or interact with the shoes some way this would have helped. |

Revenge On the Killer Tomatoesby amberComment: The extremely processed feel kinda takes away from the image I'm afraid. It adds impact to the shape and composition alright, but the tomato is lost without the title. |

Shoequilibriumby homensComment: Simple idea and excellent use of negative space. However, the theme of 'balance' suggested by the title is lost entirely by the unbalanced composition created by the violent crop. If the toe of the sandal actually was 'balancing' exactly on the bottom of the shot, it would have made the image so much stronger. |

Shineby pollComment: Beautiful (almost) abstract composition, well balanced which suits the type of shoe. The lighting catches just enough to make the texture jump out, And the very elegant movement and weight in the lines really captures the essence of such a shoe. A tiny flaw, and I'm nitpiocking at this point, is the reflection of the room caught in the left heel. Otherwise I love this pic. 9 |

Got Game?by johansecComment: A football would be more appropriate for placing by your feet. You'd expect the basketball being dribbled, or held in your hands. The picture could have been turned away from the viewer, it distracts from the interaction between the shoes and ball I think. Despite these I like the composition created by the pose, and the perspective from the boards and fading light. |

Fishin boots are shoes toooby willy_flewComment: The shots too busy, and the composition and focus both fails to pick out the boots as the main subject. Very dark too. Maybe a filler flash, or wait a bit for the sun to rise some more. |
