"Pink and White Beauty" is a very good idea for the Silky-Smooth challenge.

I think you have a very strong composition by placing the flower in the center with such a deep green background. The only thing that may have helped the image score a little better is the exposure on the flower itself. The coloring looks a little blown out which makes us loose a little focus on the flower.

Overall this is a nice piece. This is a really good shot especially since this is only your forth challenge. Very nice work! I look forward to more of you photos!

Very good idea for this challenge. I had a hard time coming up with something because this is such a tricky one. I especially like the concept because it was your first entry, which means we will probably be seeing some vary creative entries in the future too.

I was really reading your comments and it looks like you figured out how to use the techs a little bit more. But defiantly good work on the first few shots with the new camera. I think your composition is good I like the centering of the mirror. I think if you are able to try again on a bike without flare I am sure we would be able to focus on the mirror a little more.

Overall this is really a great first entry and I am very excited to see the rest of your challenges.

Wow great job and congratulations on reaching one of your own personal goal by scoring higher then a 6.5.

This is a fantastic photo. The flow of water defiantly fits the challenge and grabs the viewers eye. The contrast between the water and natural green color really enhances the composition of the photo.

I really wish I had some suggestions but I think you have created a wonderful image. Congratulations on your 5th place that is awesome!

"Mueblador de Mexico" is a good entry into the furniture challenge because it shows up the creation of the furniture. Great job seeing this opportunity and being able to capture it.

The image looks technically very clean. I like the natural lighting, it makes the image feel very much like it was not staged. I think the composition works for this piece. I would be curious to see the shot with his feet left in the shot and a little more cropped out of the top. The focus looks good, we are defiantly looking at our subject the chair and its creator.

Nice work.

"Seen better days" is a good entry into the furniture challenge. I was peaking around on your info and see a very similar photo in the Free Study challenge, I think I like this one the best.

You have found an interesting subject and created a good composition in the frame. I like that you brought the colors out to grab the viewers eye. I think you did a good job of leaving the wall in the background to show the environment and that this was not just a set up for a photo. The lighting looks pretty good, like maybe you were using natural light. the only thing I can really see that might need some adjusting is the focus on the lower left side towards the corner of the seat.

Overall I think you did an extremely good job in a tough challenge. I really look forward to your future entries, you have a good eye.

"MVP" is an awesome entry into the acronym challenge, great job picking an acronym that everyone could relate to and identify I think that helps the score.

This is a great image the focus on his face is excellent, I can't imagine how hard it was just waiting for this shot. It looks like it was worth it. I think the border adds a nice effect and really completes the composition. I think you have taken a great shot, I would be curious to see it with a little more contrast to really grab the eye. Technically this piece is great so I really don't have much to say but Congratulations!

Keep up your awesome work!

"OAP" is defiantly an acronym that I did not understand but I do live in the States. So after reading your comments it makes a lot more sense. I thought maybe it was a DPC joke I had missed in the forums.

I like that your were shooting with a soft feel for the rose, I think that works well. I think also that your lighting is extremely good, the background looks very deep and black. I think maybe if the focus was a little stronger it would have helped with the overall score. Honestly I wasn't really sure what the object on the bottom of the photo was until till I read your description. Overall the idea was very creative I wish more of us had known what OAP meant.

I hope to see many more entries from you!

"Chess Table, White to Move" is a very cool entry into the Furniture challenge. I have no idea how to play chess so I am not sure where white would be headed. I think you have an awesome concept here. I think it was probably more out of the box then most voters like, which probably results in the not so hot score. But I say make the photo that makes you happy, and I would be proud of this one.

Technically the shot looks good, our lighting is well balanced and our focus is nice and crisp. I think the angle has to grab the viewers eye because it is just not normal. I think it was cool that our perspective is altered since the subject is kind of off the wall to start with. The composition looks good, I would be curious to see the shot with the sky cropped out in comparison to left in. The image might look to confusing if you cropped out the sky.

Overall great job thinking outside the box and defiantly keep it up, this is one of the more creative ones in the challenge.
