This is a followup to the shot that I submitted for the Feb Free Study, shot on a different day and with not as good results. Light wasn't as good on the day of the reshoot, and shot at sunrise instead of sunset. Hoping this will still stay above a 5, but might be being optimistic.
iPhoto conversion from RAW, slight crop, levels and constrast adjustment, flipped image on horizontal, dodge and burn on the sofa to bring out detail in the exposed stuffing and even out the blue color on the sofa back, cloned out two small stains on sofa back, resize, border, save for web.

"Seen better days" is a good entry into the furniture challenge. I was peaking around on your info and see a very similar photo in the Free Study challenge, I think I like this one the best.
You have found an interesting subject and created a good composition in the frame. I like that you brought the colors out to grab the viewers eye. I think you did a good job of leaving the wall in the background to show the environment and that this was not just a set up for a photo. The lighting looks pretty good, like maybe you were using natural light. the only thing I can really see that might need some adjusting is the focus on the lower left side towards the corner of the seat.
Overall I think you did an extremely good job in a tough challenge. I really look forward to your future entries, you have a good eye.
