I still voted you a 9 even with the "hairball" and I was one who commented on it...it was distracting to me, but not enough to effect my overall feeling for the picture. I think this is a beautiful creature wonderfully captured by an obviously talented photographer. Definately adding to my favorites!

Agreement with mud puddle. Really feels like there is some texture in this shot calling out for recognition. Another thought I had would be a Joey Lawrence type of draganizer (sp?) effect added to it.

Really like this shot. Focus is crisp, colors are vibrant...
Angle is a little harsh, but overall I think this is a great photo.

Good depth in this shot. Don't know if you have an opportunity to reshoot or try to edit with PS or similar, but my only suggestion to make the shot better is to try to eliminate the little bit of background that shows behind the Buddhas.

I really like this shot. He is poised to strike, you got the light just right on him, and he is flicking his tongue. Great capture!

I didn't vote on this challenge but this definately would have been a 10 for me. My first thought echoed jduffett....I totally thought it was Robert DeNiro at first glance. Great candid capture. Adding to faves.

What a beautiful shot to remind one how simple and care free life can be. I used to come to FL as a child to visit my great grandparents and remember many sunsets on the beach just like this. Very emotive photo.

My roommate just got a snake that looks almost identical to this. I actually put a link to this pic in a thread where I am asking for suggestions on a name for him. In this shot you stated he was a baby...is he still pretty friendly now that he is older?
