Man vs Natureby modurnComment: For me, the gray ranges in the background are very similar as on the sculpture. I do like the black shadows - you captured those well. |

Four Conedby neophyteComment: Wow - you definitely found two contrasting colors. Maybe a bit too much red, but I like the graphic composition. |

Dawnby DufusComment: While there is contrast at the top of your photo, for me, the bottom two-thirds are very close in tonal range. |

"1 for you....and 4 for me"by Sherri1209Comment: Good contrasting colors: white shirt, popsicle colors and dark tree background. For me, this would also have worked well in the color portrait challenge. |

Waiting For Youby mandyturnerComment: Good contrast, nice composition. My immediate reaction was that it gave a film noire feeling. This would also work in the current portrait challenge. Nice job. |

Orchideaby LevTComment: While there is some contrast, for me, not as much high contrast as other entries. The shadows on the flower are a bit...overpowering. Nice closeup and composition. |

Cobraby AranchaComment: For me, if the bottom portion of your photo (below the horeses heads) had also been dark, your photo would have a greater high contrast impact. The straight white line above the dark horse is a little distracting to the eye, but what wonderful clarity and crispness. |

Jonasby jjbeguinComment: I really like your angle and how you draw the viewer into the lone person and out towards the...(pardon this...) light at the end of the tunnel. Parts of your photo seem very grainy, but you may have chosen to do that intentionally. Good contrast. |

From Withinby shutterflyComment: While there is high contrast between the silhouetted foreground and the middle portion of the sky, the topmost part of the sky is very even in tonal values. It's quite a pretty photo though and I find it serene. |
